-Debt Arrangement Scheme (DAS)

In addition to the Trust Deed and the usual generic solutions Scotland also has a relatively new scheme called a Debt Agreement Scheme / Debt Arrangement Scheme (DAS)

A Debt Agreement Scheme is similar to a Debt Management Plan but it gives you more protection (similar to a Trust Deed).

A Debt Management Plan (DMP) is an informal debt solution. Under a DMP a debt management company will be able to contact your creditors and arrange a repayment plan on your behalf.
